Our story started at home. As fashion design students we found ourselves constantly fulfilling requests from friends and family to patch tears, shorten hems, and even cobble together prom dresses. At the same time we saw the fashion industry shift into high gear producing and trashing millions of tons of clothing each year. Mend was born with the aim of providing a convenient and affordable system to not only repair clothes but also offer custom redesigns to tackle the rapid cheug-ification of fashion trends.
